Busking brothers who play a ska, funk, soul musical hybrid. On paper things don’t sound too promising, but The Dualers - Si and Typer - have enough feel good zest to pull it off. Buoyed by trumpets, sun kissed melodies, and a reggaefied beat, really ‘Don’t Go’ is the kind of whimsical gem that would be the prefect soundtrack on a hazy festival afternoon. What it would sound like in the bowels of winter though we dread to think. On the flip side, ‘Taller Than You Are’ ups the raggae ante and comes complete with steel drums and harmonicas. Definitely an acquired taste though.
