When Celebration released their debut ‘Diamonds’ EP, ‘New Skin’ stuck out as the oddball American trio’s most accessible track – so it’s no surprise to see the song get its own moment in the sun. Celebration come as close to radio-friendly as they’ll ever get by introducing a hint of melody into Katrina Ford’s unique singing style and a few well-placed guitar lines. And if that introduces more listeners to their dense, melodramatic soundscapes of swooping, Gothic organs and lateral drumming then all the better.
