Dungen's melodic new single 'Festival' is something different at the least; it’s sung entirely in Swedish which makes it pretty hard to digest. The sleepy, teeth grindingly slow pace sadly bores easily and falls short of the lulling melody it feels like it was meant to be, landing more in a pit of sluggish wailing. Still it’s not a complete waste of time, partial listener might glean some satisfaction from the overall smoothness of the track. The quality of the instrumentals is pretty good too providing a welcome break in an otherwise tiresome piece of music. Very average.
