




"Love Like Semtex"? Sounds like a very messy business doesn’t it? If Infadels had their way, joining the Mile High Club would become an act of terrorism. But let’s not hold that against ‘em (this reviewer is far too concerned with blocking out the fact that only a few feet of sheet metal stand between him and certain death to even consider a mooch to the loo with the other half), as ‘Love Like Semtex’ is indeed incendiary in many ways. However, not even an LCD-style squelch and clanging Talking Heads guitars can hide the fact that this is pretty much The Rapture-by-numbers. ‘Love Like Semtex’ promises devastation, but perhaps the threat is more potent than the execution.
