‘Dead Man’ is Louie’s follow up to ‘The Bends And The Curves’ and sees the band produce another snarling gutter punk beauty. Jordan Smith and Gaz Tomlinsons voices combine to make an angry yet tuneful racket whilst tight baselines and Jam-esque guitars blast along in the background. Whilst Louie’s sound isn’t new it’s really exciting and the duel vocalists give the band a real edge. Sounding like a more visceral Kooks there is no reason why Louie couldn’t follow them up the charts.
