Swedish four piece The Perishers, whose rise to fame has been thanks largely because of their contribution to The OC and One Tree Hill soundtracks, give us their new single ‘Trouble Sleeping’ and it fits comfortably into that category of music for the cool, indie, TV show. It has a slow and steady beat throughout and the vocals are surprisingly striking, with an effortlessly infectious tone that give the lyrics their feeling. However, at times it's hard not to feel a tad underwhelmed, almost as if you've heard the song many many times before. This is mainly because The Perishers have managed to create something that sounds exactly like all the other music used for that emotional, splitting up scene in the cool, indie, TV show. Surprising that.
