Whatever the hell Twickenham’s finest Larrikin Love are on we definitely want some of that. Whizzing along at breakneck speed ‘Edwould’ sounds like a post-Liberteens racket come folk-tinged barn dance melee on speed. Barely pausing for breath it’s a deranged hybrid of erratic vocals, clever lyrics, fiddles and zany guitar hooks. In short it’s a bit a bit of a head ****, yet thankfully never takes its eye away from delivering a damn fine tune. For their sheer off-kilter, unhinged brilliance Larrikin Love deserve to be eulogised. Surely great things beckon for 2006?
