




After rubbing noses with rock’n’roll’s finest of late (The Cribs, Kaiser Chiefs, Subways), Irish rock junkies The Chalets are here with an orgasmic rollercoaster miss-mash of sharp, sleek vocal interplay between two boys, two girls, and a drummer. On similar parallels to The Subways, there is a danger of ‘jumping on the bandwagon’, however the twitching guitar jerks and soaring chorus, combined with the sassy vocals of Pony and Peepee are enough to seduce you to a romping frenzy. Let’s just see if they’re hard enough to apply some more pressure.
