It’s hard to decide whether to like ‘The Days Go By So Slow’ or not, on the one hand Nightmare Of You have created a summery melodic tune, which after hearing repeatedly just cannot get tiresome. It is filled with charming riffs that roll around merrily, and there’s something about the vocals that keeps you helplessly attracted. On the other hand, though, it could be seen as a failed attempt at the Cure, mainly because there is nothing there that ignites a real passion for the track, which ultimately, disappoints.
