Somewhere in between the Stones-sounding opening bars of ‘No Tomorrow’ and the song’s end, three minutes and one gayed-down Scissor Sisters later, there probably lies the secret to glossy pop perfection. Which is great. But unfortunately there’s something just really unlikeable about this track too. It’s a bit like Bonnie Langford on Dancing on Ice: you know, it’s got the moves, the ooh-ooh-oohs in all the right places, the accomplished, professional execution, but ultimately, it’s this slickness which leaves you cold. Or maybe it’s just a bit too reminiscent of the New Radicals for us.
