Polished radio friendly angst rock with a nod towards nineties grunge, 'Things Always Change' does do what its sets out do pretty well. There’s sharp guitar riffs, it’s very well produced and Chris Price has a classic American sounding alt-rock voice. Problem is it’s all just a bit too formulaic: verse-chorus, quiet bit / loud bit, pained lyrical introspection etc. Excuse the punning but the most terrifying thing for this band would be not to progress to something a little more original. Change is not always a bad thing. You can keep up to date with all the latest news from Gigwise by following us on Twitter and liking us on Facebook.
