If you like your guitar music emotional, melancholy and very, very drippy then Magnet – aka Norwegian songsmith Even Johansen - may well be your man. To be honest we prefer ours with a bit more substance and vibrancy. Listening to ‘Fall At Your Feet’, on the surface it’s hard to knock his well crafted tunes, his waif-like voice and all that shit, but really it’s just boring as ****. Lo-fi and slightly moving, it’s very little surprise that some Magnet tunes have wormed their way on to that stalwart for middling, soppy balladeering - The OC soundtrack. Now, where’s that bloody strong coffee to wake us up? You can keep up to date with all the latest news from Gigwise by following us on Twitter and liking us on Facebook.
