Kindred spirits of Depeche Mode at their most poignant,
Temposhark’s previous offering ‘Invisible Ink’ was a stunningly gorgeous opus. While this more song-based offering (appearing in its Guy Sigworth mix) is nowhere near as good as its predecessor, it’s still very affecting. A soft-edged brooding electro-ballad with squelching deep dubby basslines, lush orchestrals and velvety smooth effeminate vocals are the order of the day. Very nice indeed. The stripped down Avril Couer remix of ‘
Invisible Ink’ on the flip side is well worth checking out too.
