Kindred spirits of Depeche Mode at their most poignant, Temposhark’s previous offering ‘Invisible Ink’ was a stunningly gorgeous opus. While this more song-based offering (appearing in its Guy Sigworth mix) is nowhere near as good as its predecessor, it’s still very affecting. A soft-edged brooding electro-ballad with squelching deep dubby basslines, lush orchestrals and velvety smooth effeminate vocals are the order of the day. Very nice indeed. The stripped down Avril Couer remix of ‘Invisible Ink’ on the flip side is well worth checking out too.
