The setting for ‘Hospital Food’, the newest release off David Gray’s current album, is being sat down in your favourite armchair with slippers on and the fire burning. The high point to this single is the chorus, which is Gray as we know him, using his raw, melodic voice to narrate his despondency of today’s ‘nanny state.’ However, for some odd reason he seemed it would be appropriate to include some cheesy bleeps off a keyboard, which sound like they’re off the one you got for Christmas when you were eight. It's very mediocre stuff from Gray, and gets irritating after a few listens. You can keep up to date with all the latest news from Gigwise by following us on Twitter and liking us on Facebook.
