With all the electro rock outfits out there surfing the indie dancefloor scene, it’s good to finally come across a band that has some substance to their music rather than just creating flavour of the week style tunes that pretentious ****s nod along to. ‘Going Nowhere’ is a sonically outstanding piece that stinks of break-up sex and overconfident strutting. Careful not to push their synthesizers to the point of annoying blips and beeps, the Australian outfit settles for a catchy chorus and emotive melody line that is impossible not to dance to. A comfortably un-cool yet fantastically underrated band that are sure to turn some heads with this release.
