Lifted from Devendra Banhart's latest album 'Cripple Crow', Devendra with backing band delivery a contemporary homily - that today may just be a prick to Bush's kicks, but with time could become a draft-resistance protest-song. "Heard somebody say that war ended today, but everybody knows it's going still...it's simple we don't want to kill..." Devendra eulogises with band 'ahhhh' harmonies nestled with piano-singalong-strumalong. Anathema to the peace monger of the Middle-East George Dubya - remember that fly-by, George landing the fighter-plane on the aircraft-carrier signalling the end of conflict - Devendra tells it like it is - hokum. New track 'Chicken' is a cracking banjo and rhyme ditty about chickeny antics, D. giving warbly-vocals on the vowels - a good number to do a chicken dance to, get the heels kicking. "barrrcgh".
