Moses in a Lexus... As if the awesome thrill of The Chemical Brothers and the sheer audacity of 2 Many DJ's last night wasn't enough, tonight we have all kinds of crazy noise blasting through the speakers. It ain't even funny...

11.30pm sees the arrival of the Humble Magnificent mic manipulator Edan with his fellow hip hop genius co-hort Insight. Each of them carrying the total package triple threat they 'Cut, Produce and even Emcee...' To quote them on 'Super Nice' which is a highlight of a pristine set. No Dagha to beef them up on 'Beauty & The Beat' classic 'Rock N' Roll' but then they don't even play it so he's not missed one bit.

When scrawny caucasian Edan squares up to the relentlessly cool and dreadlocked Insight it should n't work but inevitably does. No more so than when they take it in turns to pull a cut and scratch in and out consecutively... From the same set of decks...Really.

This is still the same set they were playing earlier this year to promote Edan's last album but **** it man who cares. They close the show by getting involved in the middle of the crowd and performing a greatest hits melody and the kids are breakdancing. How often do you see that?

Meanwhile over on the Sonar club stage Soulwax are closing an incomparable set with tweaks and glitches to rival last night's champions The Chemical Brothers. Really quite breathtaking when you think that two of the people on stage where last nights runners up and actual brothers! One of Spain's biggest DJ's Buena Vista warms up for LCD Soundsystem who produce a bluistering set with thousands of happy people raving to 'Daft Punk Is Playing At My House' and 'On Repeat'. At one point in their set James Murphy spent the best part of a track banging a tambourine against his head repetatively. Nutter.

Next stop is the Minimize / Maximise technovisual experiment. The assembled DJ's from around the world rock the house like an earthquake and the assembled ragtag of gays, straights, trannies and queens unite to form a new orientation... Sonarism.

Glasto... You have a contender... Viva La Barca!
