On the opening song, 'The Revolution', Joe Buhdha uses Kanye West style strings, bongos and even Gil Scott Heron's voice. He was sampled by Kanye on 'My Way Home'. As for Klashnekoff, he let's us know which beast he's tussling with on 'The Revolution'..."AK in my hand, gazin' through double glazin'/ from my sight, the bacon, it's two gun's blazin'." Maybe he agrees with Macpherson that the police are institutionally racist, rapping that "Stephen (Lawrence)'s blood stain's the pavement".

The grim imagery continues on the single 'My Life'..."These are deep day's, with inner-city decay and you can get your feet raised on any given week day." 'Lash’ has flipped the meaning of 'put your feet up'. On the same song he threatens to "Spray up this pussy-clart place like CK". It's gun violence through rose-tinted glasses, when in fact gun powder and bullet-riddled corpses don't actually smell like after-shave.

The gleeful gun-talk occupies the mid-section of ‘Lionheart…’ like a steaming bullet-wound in the fore-head..."I cause terror like Saddam and Osama/ Bring arms to your yard/ It's Vietnam in your garden"That can't be nice for the chrysanthemum's. 'Sayonara' seems to be a celebration of shooting people and yet on the next song, album highlight 'Bit by Bit', Klashnekoff has a change of (lion)heart..."I'm not preaching crime"

By the end of the album, he's in right-on mode, as he raps on 'Bun Dem'..."That's why I spit with a passion/ 'cause I'm sick of black's flashin'/ black's flashin' gat's, dyin'". On ‘Lionheart…’, Klashnekoff proves himself a thoroughbred, if at times self-contradictory MC, while Joe Buhdha's beats stay solid throughout.
