Anyone familiar with 4Hero's soulful sound will know what to expect from new album 'Play With The Changes', and anyone unfamiliar to their music is in for a real treat. The confidence in the music is clear on this, their 6th album and they obviously have a real understanding of what they're creating having moved onwards and upwards from their Drum and Bass beginnings. 'Play With The Changes' is a positive, genre breaking mix of Jazz, Soul, and  Electronica alongside many others to create a rounded sound that really stands out.

Scattered with guest vocalists, the album changes direction with every track, and sustains a definite London, Jazz Café feel throughout. One of the standout tracks 'Give In' crosses the Atlantic for collaboration with Justus League's Darien Brockington and Phonte, of the criminally overlooked Little Brother, with fine results.

Other tracks like 'Sophia' and 'Why Don't You Talk' are more dance orientated with upbeat instrumentals but it's definitely the well chosen vocalists who help to breathe life into the finely crafted songs on this excellent album.

'Play With The Changes' is the sound of confident musicians who seem to revel in making music that sounds like very-little else around in 2007. The fact that this probably won't register in the charts is criminal.
