Status Quo are back together, with the band's original line-up on the road, and the stage, for the first time in 30 years.
Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster, John Coghlan and Francis Rossi last night performed a brilliant gig for fans in Glasgow, proving that their years apart have done nothing to diminish their rock and roll talents. Ahead of the show, Parfitt revealed he was pleased the band split - because otherwise they would never have been able to get back together.
"I think the really positive thing is that if we hadn't split up we couldn't have got back together again," he told Sky News in February 2013. "It's very nice to see everybody again, to get to know everybody again, because there's a lot of water gone under the bridge."
