'Subtle' is not a word that will feature heavily in a Lady Gaga history book, and her new video 'Cake' is set to be one of her most unsubtle (and eye-catching) releases to date.

In a new teaser clip released today (19 November, 2012) the singer is seen taking things literally and rolling aound in a big pile of cake in the Terry Richardson-directed new video. She is also in her bra and pants, obviously.

But food and music go hand in hand - just as easily as sex and music. In fact, these are three of our very favourite things. Many music videos have worked these three elements together, from a nearly-naked Gary Barlow rubbing jelly all over his hairless torso in Take That's early days to Katy Perry's exploding cream breasts in her 'California Gurls' video, food porn is a favourite for many pop stars.
