The biggest female stars in music - with and without Photoshop

They're stunning anyway, but just a little more realistic

World War Three has broken out on Twitter this weekend after US fashion magazine, Lucky, issued a cover with Britney Spears that appeared to be heavily photoshopped...

So Gigwise thought we would see how much some of the other biggest females in pop compare.

We looked at the single and album covers of stars including Kylie, Cheryl Cole, Jessie J, and Rihanna.

We then compared these to snaps of the same stars out and about on a day to day basis- whether it be grocery shopping, out on the town, or hitting the recording studio. We can't lie - they all look pretty damn stunning in both, but the non-photoshopped images are an awful lot more realistic.

So next time you have look at your poster of your favourite pop-star on your bedroom wall and think 'I wish I looked that good'- remember, they probably don't - even if they do still look really good...
