Who's scarier? JLS at G.A.Y. or Alice Cooper at Wembley...

Terrifying faces and poses - and that's just JLS

It's the scariest time of the year - X Factor is in full swing and former stars of the show are releasing their new albums in the lead up to Christmas, hoping to cash in the festive sales boost.

Also, it's Halloween - which means all sorts of unnatural live performances.

Of course, Alice Cooper is in town for his favourite holiday of the year, performing live last night (28 October, 2012) at Wembley. Joined by ex-Guns N'Roses man Duff McKagan and Ugly Kid Joe, this was the essential weekend spook show for rock fans.

Meanwhile, playing to a different crowd entirely, JLS took to the stage at London club GAY to promote their new single 'The Hottest Girl In The World' - which entered the charts at No.6 on the weekend. The X Factor runners-up were supported by recent talent show eliminees MK1.

Check out photos of both Alice Cooper and JLS performing live on the weekend (it's not often you'll see these guys sharing the same gallery space). Happy Halloween.
