Where has 2012 gone?! Next week it is November and it is that time of year where we start looking ahead to the new year and what it has in store for us! 2013 should be another good year and with acts like Lady Gaga and Depeche Mode both promising new albums.

Arcade Fire have today revealed that they are hard at work on their next album, with drummer Jeremy Gara telling Canadian radio station CKCU: "Now we're in the studio pretty much full-time just doing what we do. And we kind of shut the door. We haven't really gone out and done anything in over a year now. "We haven't done photos or interviews or anything. We're just working on music and growing beards and living at home a lot and going out to dinner together."

Meanwhile Foal have also today announced release details of their third album, Holy Fire, which is due for release on 11 February.

Basically, 2013 is already filling up with big new releases. Check out who's got what in the pipeline - so to speak...
