With rumours of the Foo Fighters splitting up, The Smiths reforming and The Black Keys confirming the release of a new album next year it has been a busy few days for finding out what’s in store for some of the biggest bands in the world.

With these bands in the spotlight Gigwise decided to look into some other bands that are out of the spotlight at the moment and see what is in store for them in the near future. The Stone Roses, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys and many more have given us updates of their upcoming plans, so check them all out here.

Whether it be calls for a reunion or bands cooped up in studio claiming they are writing the best stuff they have ever written, there is mixed fortunes for fans of these bands...
