It's not exactly a shock to hear that the Spice Girls struggled to muster the girl power to stay friends during their pop heyday, but now Sporty Spice Mel C has revealed arguements between her and Mel B often descended into physical violence.

In a new interview, the singer has revealed how: "Me and Melanie B used to get a bit pushy-shovey but we're talking years ago. We've had some humdinger rows and some raised voices, but I don't think anything's ever been thrown - no injuries inflicted on each other - only mental scars!"

However, some bands weren't so lucky, and music history is littered with tales of violent clashes between band members. From the band who filmed themselves beating up their frontman to the member of one classic band punched so hard by a bandmate he lost two days of his memory, we reckon The Spice Girls got away lightly with the 'pushy-shovey' described by Mel C.

Check out some of the worst band bust ups and violent incident of all time, right here.
