The MTV Video Music Awards took place last night (6 September) in Los Angeles, with a whole host of British artists nominated for honours.
One Direction took home two awards for their 'What Makes You Beautiful' single, while Calvin Harris, M.I.A. and Coldplay were also winners on the night.
