We are family: the best (and worst) parent and child duets

Matt Bellamy, Jay-Z, Miley Cyrus and more

  • Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus: These two have duetted a number of times, including songs such as ''Stand'' and ''Ready, Set, Don''t Go'' which gave us all achy-breaky ears.

Earlier this week Muse's Matt Bellamy revealed that he has recorded the sound of his son's heartbeat from inside the womb and used it on new album 'The 2nd Law'.

The sound of newborn Bingham can be heard on Muse's new song 'Follow Me', set to be released in October, Speaking to Rolling Stone Bellamy revealed that he used his phone to record the sound of girlfriend Kate Hudson's womb as she gave birth.

Bellamy said he took his iPhone and set it to record, "just before she pushed him out".

That made us think about other, slightly more advanced, duets between musical stars and their kids. Sometimes they are very good indeed, often they are not.

Take a look through the list we have accumulated and let us know your favourite family duet in the comments below.
