Alt-Rock overlord and perpetual whinger Billy Corgan has criticised bands that reform after a long time away from the music scene, saying that they only do so to to make money from ticket sales, and have no intention of recording new material. Ouch.

2012 has played host to a lot of comebacks; The Killers, Bloc Party, The Shins, all releasing new material and all being duely applauded. However there are some cynics out there and it's their thinking that a few of the headline comebacks of 2012 are just a little bit too convenient to be 'noble'...
