Jessie J said she was "blown away" by performing at the closing ceremony for London 2012 Olympics last night.

The 24-year-old singer said on Twitter she was proud to represent the UK at event at the Olympic stadium in Stratford.

She wrote: "I'm in shock right now. Tonight is a night to always remember and never forget. Blown away!! #london2012"

Tweeting a picture of herself backstage at the event posing like Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt, she added: "Oh what a night! So proud to represent the UK! Congratulations to everyone! Booooooom!"

Jessie J performed her hit 'Price Tag' during the ceremony before singing a version of the Bee Gees' 'You Should Be Dancing' with Tinie Tempah and Taio Cruz.

She then took the place of Freddie Mercury to sing Queen's 'We Will Rock You' alongside original band members Brian May and Roger Taylor.
