MTV have announced the nominations for the 2012 Video Music Awards. Rihanna seems to be the hot ticket for music videos this year; not only has she claimed five nominations for herself, but both her collaborations with Drake and Coldplay have also been nominated.
One of last year’s big winners was Katy Perry, picking up three awards for the videos for ‘E.T.’ and ‘Firework’. British singer Adele also picked up three awards last year, but in she’s only been nominated for one this time around.
