Leeds festival is getting started a day early, with the newly announced Dance To The Radio stage due to kick off on 23 August at 5pm.

The live music on the stage is provided by Leeds label Dance To The Radio and will feature Leeds band China Rats, who have previously impressed DJ Huw Edwards.

Also to appear on the stage are Bradford band Scars On 45, who recently had their song ‘Beauty’s Running Wild’ featured on ‘CSI: New York’ and indie band Little Comets from Tyne and Wear.

York band Likely Lads and the goth/mod/pop hybrid Various Cruelties are also performing on the DTTR stage.

The acts for the BBC Introducing stage at both Reading and Leeds were also recently announced.
