Following the runaway success of The Voice, *giggle*, there's another TV talent show just around the corner - yep, X Factor is back for its millionth (actually, it's the ninth) series.
Today is was revealed that this year's bootcamp stage held a cruel twist for the pop wannabes - 60 of them were sent home before even opening their mouths to sing for the judges. This year's panel is made up of Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Louis Walsh and newcomer, Nicole Scherzinger - they might have missed a potential goldmine here!
So, before Saturday night television is ruined between here and Christmas 2012, check out the tear-stained, embarrassed faces of the X Factor auditionees who won't be making the finals of this year's show...
