Pete Doherty has been thrown out of a Thai rehab clinic after accusations of being a 'disruptive' influence on other patients at the expensive clinic.

The former Libertines rocker was asked to leave The Cabin, in Chiang Mai, less that three weeks into his stay. Individuals at the rehab centre pay £7,200 to attend therapy session at the clinic.

"Pete was discharged today for therapeutic reasons," says the centre's programme director Alastair Modey, and as reported in The Daily Mail. "It is important to maintain the integrity of the treatment programme for the other clients to have a good chance of recovery. Pete understands this and therefore the reasons behind why we have asked him to leave."

Mordey also added that despite being ejected from the centre, staff wished the addicted rocker well.

"Although our parting with Pete is amicable, we are of course disappointed to see him leave," he contiuned. "We hope some of the things he has learnt here will help him in the future and look forward to the day when Pete decides to consider recovery again."

Doherty was again seeking treatment for addiction to heroin and crack cocaine.
