The Rolling Stones reunited to mark their 50th anniversary in music this week - and Keith Richards has fanned the flames of the rumour mill of an upcoming tour from the rock legends. He reveald at a press conference that the band were in rehearsals - but didn't say for what.

Today marks fifty years since The Rolling Stones played their first ever gig (July 12 1962) and it's fair to say that the four members of the band have been through enough to keep most people going a lifetime since then, with drugs, drink, divorce and an unfortunate incident with a palm tree all putting the band through their paces.

So, how have Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts held up? Take a look through the pictures below to see some classic then and now shots.
