- A long time coming: The band actually started working on the record in 2011, but kept it a secret. Bloc Party got together in New York in winter to start work on 'Four', and finished officially mixing it on May 31. It seems like it's going to be worth the wait.

Bloc Party released new single ‘Octopus’ today (11 July, 2012) and it has us more than excited for the band's upcoming fourth album, 'Four'.
‘Octopus’ is the first thing we’ve heard from the indie stars since one-off single ‘One More Chance’ in 2009 and it shows that Bloc Party are not only back, but they’re also better than ever.
