5 July, 2012: We love Beth Ditto, even if Gossip's 2012 album 'A Joyful Noise' didn't quite pack the punch we've come to expect from the band. Live shows like Gossip's Shepherd's Bush gig last night make up for any studio slip-ups.
Not content with making the stage her own, Beth Ditto last night dived into the audience after spotting US celebrity blogger Perez Hilton in the west London crowd, and made her way to the balcony to join him - mid performance.
After serenading the O2 Empire from the balcony, Ditto ran backstage where she ran amok with the venue's security guards.
