Kanye West and Jay-Z were amongst the big winners at this year's BET Awards, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last night (July 1).

The pair, known collectively as The Throne, scooped the prize for Best Group as well as winning the award for Best Video for their car-wrecking 'Otis' promo.

Other winners on the night included Beyonce, Chris Brown, Big Sean, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Common. Wretch 32 won an award for the best UK act, beating the likes of Estelle and Emeli Sande to the prize.
