The Queen's Jubilee Concert, Capital FM's Summertime Ball, Hackney Weekend - there's a reason Ed Sheeran has been wearing long sleeves recently, and it's not just because of the rubbish summer weather.
At an intimate show in Milan, Italy last night (28 June, 2012) the 'Small Bump' singer showed off a large, half-sleeve tattoo on his left arm. The design incorporates snowflakes and stars into the pattern, which mixes up pink, green, yellow and blue into the artwork.
The singer was performing a small show for his Italian fans as his worldwide fame grows. Already a huge success in the UK, he broke records in the US with sales of his '+' album and is now growing his fanbase - and his body work it seems - as he travels the globe.
