- Justin Bieber: In 2010, a web designer launched a Firefox add-on called ''Shaved Bieber'', which would erase all mentions of Justin Bieber from the Internet when enabled. One 15-year-old fan was so angry that she wrote a letter, saying: "I realize that you''re just stating an opinion, but what you''re doing is going back to World War II all over again. Hitler wanting to erase Jews from society - you want to erase Justin Bieber."

It's fine to be an obsessive fan of a band. Buying records, attending gigs and putting up posters is fine - but when you find yourself hiding in the bushes and rummaging through your idol's bins, you know you've got a problem.
