Gigwise readers have voted Muse's October shows their most eagerly anticipated gigs of 2012.

In a recent poll, the band's October and November dates proved the most popular upcoming shows of the year. They will perform at Glasgow, London, Birmingham and Manchester later this year.

Placing second was former X Factor star Aiden Grimshaw, who starts his debut UK headline tour in September this year. Blink 182 placed third, with anticipation high for their UK return in July for a one-off show at Brixton Academy. Red Hot Chili Peppers gigs last weekend in Sunderland and at Knebworth placed fourth, while Queen and Adam Lambert's three Hammersmith shows in July placed third in the poll.

Madonna's breast-flashing antics on her MDNA tour have done little to endear the pop megastar to the Gigwise audience, as her July dates in the UK place the star at bottom of the poll.

Gigwise readers were also less than excited about upcoming tours from Bat For Lashes, Cheryl Cole, Maximo Park and Nicki Minaj - who also placed poorly in the recent vote.

Tickets for these shows are available now. Visit Gigwise Gig Tickets for more information.

The poll is still open. If you disagree with these results, make sure you cast your vote.
