Boyband The Wanted have revealed a US gig accident when their guitarist was set on fire during a live show.

The 'Glad You Came' chart toppers revealed that the incident occured when the musician stood too close to the band's pyrotechnics and set his hair alight.

"Our guitarist got set (on) fire on tour," says singer Nathan Sykes in an interview with The Daily Mirror. "They were sending off these big pyros and he stood too close. They were sending off these big pyros and he stood too close. He's got big hair and it set on fire."

The boyband are currently enjoying huge success in America, but haven't been charmed by everyone they have encountered stateside. They have recently refused to apologise to Christina Aguilera after calling her a 'b*tch' following a meeting on the US version of The Voice.
