Labrinth wants to work with Dave Grohl, Bjork

Star reveals love for Foo Fighters frontman, hints at future rock sound

  • Labrinth - 'Electronic earth': We first came across him as Tinie Tempah's mate on his hit 'Frisky' but this impressive album proves that he is deserves his own fanbase. Standout for us is the excellent 'Treatment'. Next single please.

'Express Yourself' singer Labrinth has revealed his dream collaborators are Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Icelandic superstar, Bjork.

The singer told The Daily Star about his unusual collaboration wish-list and told how he believe Dave Grohl is the 'coolest guy ever'.

"The people I want to collaborate with most are Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl and Bjork," says the London singer. "Dave was the coolest guy ever when I met him. I've gotten every single girl I've ever wanted, so when I say 'I want Bjork', I've just got to get that girl."

He added that he has long been a rock fan, and has been working on rock-influenced tracks in his studio.

"I'm schizophrenic when I make music. One moment I want to make rock, the next it's club music. It's very hard to stick to one thing," he added. "It burns that the record industry makes me focus on just one thing because I have a very short attention span."
