Los Angeles police are set to question Justin Bieber after a member of the paparazzi claimed he was assaulted by the teen star during an incident over the weekend.
Pictures taken on Sunday (May 27) show a clearly angry Bieber in Los Angeles having lost his hat and a shoe in some kind of confrontation with the paparazzi. The images show his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, attempting to calm him down. It is believed that the pair were on their way out of a cinema at The Commons at Calabasas when the incident took place.
TMZ state that the paparazzi has filed a police report and that the officials are investigating the incident as a misdemeanour criminal battery case and want to speak to Bieber, who left the scene before police arrived.
Sheriff Lt. Robert Wiard told TMZ that the photographer was taken to a hospital where he received treatment and was released.
