- Dappy was in court this week accused with a petrol station 'affray' which left a man missing nine teeth. The 'Rockstar' rapper has been 'talking and tutting' as evidence was given against him and his friends. A jail term would bring a welcome relief to our ears from his relentlessly terrible music, that's for sure. But if there's one place certain to generate music worse than Dappy's, it's our next loser of the week...

After months of shivering and slopping around in wet socks, summer finally hit the UK this week. Pub-goers spilled onto the streets and tabloid photographers headed to the coast to take photos of girls in bikinis larking around in the sea. Yes indeed, the great British summertime has arrived.
But not everyone had such a great week, as music careers floundered, while other stars' attempts to break into a new industry fell flat - or worse, were met with an arena-sized chorus of boos. A few days of warmth won't come as much comfort to the likes of Matt Cardle and Pete Doherty this week, that's for sure.
