The music world lost a legend today with the sad news of Robin Gibb's death.

The man behind some of not just disco but all of music's greatest moments lost a long battle with cancer on Sunday (May 20).

Proof of his influence and stock in the music industry was evident from the level of tributes paid to him via social networks in the immediate aftermath of the news.
