10 May, 2012: Festival season has official begun, with the Brighton seaside currently bouncing to the sounds of some of the biggest bands in the UK - and beyond.
Kicking off on Thursday this week, Gigwise headed down for the first night of live music, catching Friends, Django Django, Maximo Park and Mystery Jets - among others. See exclusive photos of day one's action below.
