The Voice judge Jessie J says she would 'never' audition for a TV talent show, no matter how badly her career faultered. She also admits she wishes she had waited to find out who her fellow judges on the BBC talent show were likely to be before signing up.

OK sure, it's not the most bile-filled rant of all time, but musicians have a history of turning on their own work when looking back on their output. Hindsight is indeed a blessing and curse, and music stars can turn quickly on something they were only recently touting as their greatest body of work - ever.
