Everybody loves rumours about celebrity deaths - even when they are pure fabrication and spun from the mind of bored Twitter users.
There was a lot of controversy about Lil Wayne this week - while the rapper was certainly hospitalised for a seizure, rumours soon spread about the serious nature of the affliction. Gossip website TMZ ramped up the speculation, despite Lil Wayne's team insisting that their facts were false. Either way, he's doing better - and not dead.
Lil Wayne isn't alone in the world of online death hoaxes, of course. Britney Spears, Adele and Eminem have all been reportedly killed off by online jokers - and most of them in car crashes.
