9 April, 2012: The 2012 festival season has officially begun. Snowbombing, Austria's high altitude festival kicked off this week in Mayrhofen, and Gigwise is there to capture the best moments from this year's mountain-top event.

This year's event is headlined by Dizzee Rascal, with Example, DJ Shadow, The Vaccines, Labrinth and many more on the bill towards the end of the week. Day one kicked off with some of the world's hottest, most exciting DJ talent entertaining the party-goers, with guests including Artwork, Mc Wreck, Netsky and London Elektricity.
